YOGA Workshops

This is another exciting announcement for NUDGE Training!
We will be offering YOGA as a support for your Health and Well Being.
Yoga is not just for flexible people who stretch their bodies and contort themselves into seemingly impossible positions.
It is also not only for people who can transcend their physical bodies while maintaining a Lotus position for hours at a time.
Yoga has many forms and aspects that most people are not aware of.
The purpose of presenting Yoga to you here at NUDGE is to provide with another effective solution to help you reach your goals in health, longevity and happiness.
Yoga is very powerful and can literally transform someone’s life.
There are many different types of Yoga including and not limited to Hatha, Bikram, Kundalini, Moksha… and choosing a Type of Yoga can be very difficult due to some stigmas and presumptions about Yoga and what that person has been exposed to.
Choosing which type of Yoga can be influenced by a number of aspects:
I would like to tell you that there is a Yoga for everyone and the benefits will surely show themselves to you in a very short time period.
To help you find the best type of Yoga, NUDGE is offering a series of Yoga Workshops.
So, whether you are completely new to Yoga, an experienced Yogi looking to sample some alternative types or you are specifically looking to improve a particular area of your life, the workshops will provide you with answers.
Coming to the different workshops and participating in the various types will be the best way to choose. This way you can sample the different types first hand and get to know the different instructors.

This is the Yoga of Passive Surrender. This Yoga aims to address tightness and adhesions in deep fascia surrounding muscles.
YANG Yoga - Thursday, June 2 @ 7 - 8:30 pm
This is the Yoga of ACTION! A powerful flow class that challenges the physical self.

YIN and YANG YOGA
YIN Yoga Tuesday, May 31 @ 7 - 8:30 pm
This is the Yoga of Passive Surrender. This Yoga aims to address tightness and adhesions in deep fascia surrounding muscles.
- This rehabilitative practice helps with the process of healing from injury and aids in enhancing flexibility throughout the entire body.
- Coupled with self massage and acupressure techniques for beginners that address specific organs and glands (ex: thyroid, intestines)
- Yin Yoga can promote better digestion and help assist in removing existing health and wellness road blocks; stress and insomnia, anxiety, I.B.S. etc
- A slow and meditative practice with long periods of holding in deep postures trains the mind to focus in its natural state and allows the breath to move us to a place of greater recognition of Self. Let go or be dragged!
YANG Yoga - Thursday, June 2 @ 7 - 8:30 pm
This is the Yoga of ACTION! A powerful flow class that challenges the physical self.
- This practice uses the concept of body to body leveraging (lifting your own body weight) and body to prop leveraging (using the floor, wall, yoga blocks and even weights!) to build upon existing muscle mass, enhance fitness endurance (you will sweat!) and flexibility.
- A fast moving yoga where movement flows consistently with each side of the breath (inhalation and exhalation). This class always leaves you feeling exhilarated for the rest of the day!
