Our classes are suitable for all levels and ages from the professional athlete to the weekend warrior and beginner exercisers. We incorporate our strict instruction on form with the use of essential fundamental movement patterns. These essential movements are easy enough to learn in one session although will challenge even the most seasoned athlete. What can I expect when I sign-up for Nudge Group Fitness Boot Camp?
You can expect to be held accountable to your fitness plan and health program. We understand that you will not have success with any fitness program unless you are committed to changing multiple aspects of your life. This is why the 10 x session programs are 2-3 days per week paid in advance. We expect that you are committed to making change in order to reach your goals and we will hold you accountable. Your accountability will come from keeping a food diary, and implementing the Health and Lifestyle List we will provide you at the beginning of each 10 x session commitment.
Along with the food diary and list, we will be there for you by providing solutions to any questions that you may have in our daily blog you will have access to. You can also contact me directly over the phone or e-mail if you choose to do so.
What kind of exercises do you provide and will I be able to keep up?
We use a variety of creative ways to test your own physical ability. The exercises follow our exclusive dynamic warm-up routine. Our exercises are designed to testing your balance, agility, and proprioception (your sense of balance) and strength conditioning. All of the group session will incorporate an interval component at the end of the session to increase overall stamina, fitness capacity and expected fat loss! We know that there can be a great difference in physical fitness and ability from one person to another. This is why we will always provide variations on every exercise to suit all levels.
How long will it take until I see results?
Most people will see increases in their daily energy levels in the first week. Over the course of 3-4 weeks, each person should lose a minimum of 3-6 lbs. We have had results as high as 10-12 lbs! Losing 1 -2 dress sizes over the course of 3 - 4 weeks is also common. The reality of weight loss is due to a few factors 1. Increased metabolic rate due to growth in muscle mass, 2. Nutritional support due to adequate amounts and proper food choice making, and 3. Regeneration due to adequate rest and recovery. These three aspects of weights loss can be summed up in one Stress management. working out is stressful and results can only happen when the stressors placed on the body are managed and balanced. The better results will occur when there is more balance. We will be discussing these points during the course of your training to ensure you are supporting your body's needs.
What areas do hold your Boot Camps?
Our gym is located in Streetsville, where we provide the indoor Boot Camps. We also provide training outdoors for our Boot Camps at Vic Johnson play fields. (Click here for directions) Our classes will be held in our gym and in the outdoors on nice days. If it is too hot or raining we will utilize the indoor, air-conditioned space. If we workout indoors we will usually finish the class with some quick intervals based training outside. Below you can view when we will be training.
